FitBit App is Not Syncing and It's the App that is the Problem, Not the FitBit

Android, Galaxy Note 10+

The FitBit App has started having sync issues yesterday 1/13/22 in which it won't connect to the FitBit Charge 3. Force stopping the app AND clearing the cache is the only thing that gets an update attempt, but it hasn't synced since 6:58 PM 1/12/22 according to the app.

I have tried: Disconnecting the Bluetooth, phone restart with a mix of the other things, checking for updates, restarting the Charge 3, Uninstalling & Reinstalling the app.

Disconnecting the device from the app has given me a maintenance error. Is the app down? It hasn't loaded any of the little icons on the page at all since yesterday.

Accepted Solutions

Sorry for the double direct reply, but checking it today, the issue has resolved itself, just a two day outage. Still blaming the app for this one though.

Apparently the solution (for me) was to disconnect from wifi. 😒

Do you have any firewall setup with the WiFi?

Nothing new if I do - this is a sudden change and the wifi is same as ever.
