Fitbit App Logs Out Nightly and will not allow me to log back in

For the past 4 days; when I wake up in the morning; my fitbit app on my Android phone is logged out; the icon states "login to view stats" (or something to that fact) then when I enter my password; it advises me that either the username or password is incorrect; and it's not.  Then around 3.5 hours later I try to login again and it finally does.  First of all why does it keep logging out; and secondly; why won't it let me log back in?  I'm ready to just quit using the fitbit all together!

Thanks for bringing this up, I definitely understand how this can be frustrating.

 

In this case we could try clear the Fitbit app's cache. It could be that some data is causing this to happen. You can try to follow the steps listed in here to clear the cache. That should definitely help.
