I'm experiencing the same issue as well.
only crashes when I try to use the exercise tab.
I hadn't updated my app (used to affect the battery on my blaze when I updated. now have a versa 2).
then I thought doing the update would fix it. no avail.
I report the issue to Google play every other time I try.

I have the same error - which I first noted after my phone did an OS update on Thursday morning (Apr 23). After that, I downloaded the recent update to Fitbit from the previous week (which hadn't yet installed) and the issue remained.

Also having this issue after the last update. I also tried all the same troubleshooting that the OP did (reinstalled the app on 4/23, cleared cache, restarted phone, turned Bluetooth off and on, tried all of those things in various combinations, etc.).

To fix an issue where the Fitbit app unexpectedly crashes when you open the Exercise tile, follow these steps. Note you’ll need to log back into the Fitbit app with your email address and password.
- On your phone, open the Settings app.
- Tap Apps > Fitbit > Storage.
- Tap Clear Data.
- Open the Fitbit app and log in.
- Be sure to accept the requests for your phone to access your location, notifications, and other settings.

When I go to do this it says it'll permanently delete all my data. Will it be reloaded once I log back in again? I don't want to loose all my data.
