Fitbit App doesn't sync weight data from Health Connect

I have a scale that syncs weight with Google Fit.
In the Fitbit app, if I go to Health connect data it shows me the weight recorded in google fit, but in the Today tab the weight does not update, I have to do it manually.

Google Fit version 2024.02.15.00

I've not had a good experience with Google Fit syncing data with my Fitbit app.

There's a new feature/option that just started rolling out where we will be able to add Health Connect as a connection to our Fitbit apps. Most likely, when we enable this option, you will no longer have to update your weight manually.

Until then, I suspect you will have to manually enter your weight.

Yes, the new feature is called Health Connect Data, it is enabled, and it shows me the updated weight, but it does not update it in the Today tab.
