Fitbit App isn't tracking calories eaten

When I enter the food I had for breakfast it shows the calories as it should under the header breakfast, but they are not counted in my daily Total (which stays at 0) and do not show up in the graph at the top. This is also the case with any snacks that I am taking. Lunch however does show up in the daily Total (which is then very little because it's only counting lunch) and also in the graph at the top
