Fitbit App keeps deleting my "cheer" clicks - Android

As I go through the posts in the Community section of the app on my phone, I cheer many of them. When I scroll back up, all of the cheers I clicked on are gone. If I click on "cheer" again and scroll up or down and then return to that post, once again my "cheer" click is deleted. What is going on? This is getting old.

@Sojournr Nice to see you here again in the forums. This is the second time I see this reported. Thanks for the explanation. That I find extremely odd. Does it happen that the Fitbit app does not record anything else like comments on posts or similar? As this could be related to the fact, that the info is not being saved on the server and it just shows you a local "cheer". Please try using a different internet connection to see if something changes. 

Please make sure that the Fitbit app is up to date. Open the Playstore and search for Fitbit. If there is an update, it will be shown right there. If the issue persists, please try deleting the app and installing it again.

I ended up getting a new phone for starters and then reinstalled the app. So far, it seems to be working ok. My old phone had some major issues, so I'm pretty certain that it was causing my problems. Thanks for the suggestions.

Well, it's been almost a month and a half and even with the new phone, this problem is recurring again (still). It stopped for a very brief time after I got a new phone but once I got the Fitbit app re-installed and updated, it started all over again with this nonsense of initially accepting my "cheer" on people's posts and then when I scroll down to other posts and then scroll back up, all of my cheer selections are completely gone; every **ahem** time. I have to click on them three to four times to get them to finally take. Is the company aware of this and are they doing anything about it? It's really friggin' annoying.
