Fitbit App not showing resting heart rate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Until recently my Fitbit app showed both current bpm (on top) and bpm resting heart rate (below). For the last week or so it no longer shows the resting rate. Opening up the heart rate bit of the app confirms no recent recordings of resting bpm. Anyone else experienced this issue and, if so, any ideas as to how it can be fixed? Thanks

@RivyKIng Hi there. Thank you for the details shared.

Resting heart rate is the number of times your heart beats per minute when you’re still and well-rested. Typically, resting heart rate ranges from 60-100 bpm, but the rate can vary based on age and fitness level. Please make sure that you're wearing your Fitbit all the time, to ensure you get a reading on the tile.

If you're still not seeing it, please force quit the app, log out and log back in.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for your suggestion SilviaFitbit.  However, I have tried everything suggested to no avail. Am currently waiting for Fitbit to get back to me after seeking their direct help. Even their front line assisters were stuck and unable to resolve this issue. They have referred the matter to their specialist and, as mentioned, I am waiting for their next contact.

Update. Low and behold my resting heart rate reading has reappeared on my app. Hope it is back to normal but am a little suspicious in that the rate displayed has apparently remained constant since the data was lost. Previously it varied up and down by the odd point or two over several days. I now find a completely flat line for the last few (missing) weeks, which is a little strange. Time will tell!

I have had the same issue. It quit on 10/31.
