Fitbit App not updating

Hi all 👋 I bought a charge 4 earlier this morning and the app is not updating, just keeps saying pending on phone? Anyone else having problems thank you in advance 🤗

Thank you for the detailed information. This is odd and not expected, but I'd like to confirm if you have tried to update the App by following the steps below: 

 

1. Open the Play Store app.
2. Tap the menu icon in the top left.
3. Tap My apps & games. If the Fitbit app has an update, you’ll see it in the Updates list.
4. Tap Update.

 

If that is the case, then I recommend restarting your mobile device and try to perform the update one more time. If it fails, then please try to update it using your cellular data instead of Wi-Fi or vice versa. 

 

On a side note, I've moved your post to another board to keep our forums organized.
