I was advised by a Moderator that the syncing issues are sorted all users have to do is download Fitbit App version 4.28.2 (Android) I am unable to locate this.

Hi @Ant14 any update is rolling. You might get it before me and the next person will get it tomorrow. That's just how it's always been with these updates. All you can do is wait until the Google Play Store lets you know there is a newer version of the app to download.

As @GrahamWharton reported, the update to version 4.28.2 hasn't fixed the syncing issue for many users. The Moderators have forwarded this information to the team.
At this point, there isn't any troubleshooting we can recommend since the issue is on the Fitbit side.

v4.28.3 released yesterday has fixed the sync issue for me.
Versa 4 now working with Galaxy A10.
