I was advised by Mod that the syncing issued is fixed, users just have to download Fitbit App version 4.28.2 (Android) I am unable to locate this. Has anyone else managed to download it yet?

Just downloaded the update, you may want to check again. I'll report back tomorrow after my GPS tracked run and let you know if I still have the sync issue, since that's usually the activity that causes the most headaches.

Go to the Play Store website (not through the app) for Fitbit, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "About this app"

If you're logged in to your Google account and it shows version 4.28.2 then that's what the Play Store should push to your device.

I have updated the app to 4.28.2 but I still cannot get it to work, I cannot link my Versa 3 to the app as the app does not find it on bluetooth. Tried restarting app, watch, bluetooth and tablet, but nothing works. The app still seems to be broken and I am getting fed up with it all now.

Got 4.28.2 from play store, did not fix the syncing issue, after unpairing as suggested, now can't find the Versa 3 to even try syncing with app, going to try find a previous version, 4.26 or 4.27 and see can i get it back to life.
Update, uninstalled 4.28.2 , found a site that had 4.26, re-installed that version and no problem, found device, sync no issue, so its definitely a 4.28 app version

From what I'm seeing, the newest Android Fitbit app update, version 4.28.3, has resolved the syncing issue for most users. I can't say all users yet since I haven't had a chance to check all the threads about the syncing issues.
If you haven't updated your Fitbit app yet, please check the Play Store and install the update once it's available to you.
Let us know if you're still experiencing a syncing issue after installing version 4.28.3.

I have been unable to sync since sometime last Monday/Tuesday.
4.28.1 is the latest version showing in the Play Store, so I haven't been able to update the app. I have Android v11, so that is not the issue. Has the update been pulled from the Play Store?

As far as I know, the update to version 4.28.3 hasn't been pulled from the Play Store.
The app updates tend to roll out in waves. Keep checking the Play Store for the update and install it when it's available to you.
Let us know if you are still having syncing issues after updating to version 4.28.3.
