I have had the Flex and Alta in the past. I used the Alta on my current phone successfully without any issues. When I saw the Charge 3 being released, I really wanted a Fitbit that would allow me to track HR and detailed sleep without all the bells and whistles of the Ionic or Versa which I know I will not use. I did not see my phone on the "supported" list, so I actually called Fitbit to see if my phone would, in fact, work with the Charge 3. I was told that if my Alta was working fine, I should have no problems with the Charge 3. So I ordered it to receive on date of release back in October. Of course, at that time, I was unaware that the Charge 3 did not use a dongle like the Alta did. Not sure if that is a point to make but I will. Needless to say, it has been painful to sync the Charge 3 with my LG Stylo 4. In the past 24 hours, it will not sync at all. I was unable to sync my complete workout from yesterday afternoon and cannot get my sleep date from last night. This is really frustrating and I am hoping someone can give me some ideas on how to fix this. I have tried all the soft resets of the Charge 3, which usually help, but are doing nothing. I also clear out the bluetooth cache regularly. I really do not think this process should be this difficult. Thanks for any ideas.

Welcome to the Forums @atomic60.
Thanks for sharing all of that information and the steps that you have tried.
As you mentioned, this might be happening because the Stylo 4 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
Having said that, there is a chance we could get it to work. As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it. Some users of unsupported devices have mentioned that following these steps helps with the syncing.
If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
