Fitbit Charge HR won't sync maps of runs

I'm using the Android app on a Nexus 6p to track runs, along with wearing the Fitbit Charge HR. I've noticed that on about half of my runs, I can't combine the map of the run and the data from the Fitbit. In the app, I'll see two entries for the same run: one with the step/heart rate data but no map, and one with the map but no heart rate data. Weirdly, the entry with the map has a 0'00'' pace listed, but the correct splits.

If I check the website, I'll only see the entry with the step/heart rate data. No matter how many times I press sync on the phone, it won't send the activity entry with GPS data to the website, or combine the two entries.

I've tried logging out and restarting the phone and Fitbit, but the problem always comes back. When I log out and log in again, I won't have the map of the run because it was never synced with the website.

Does anyone else experience this or have a solution. It's getting pretty frustrating to be constantly losing maps of runs.

Hi @Chuckinator

Looks like you might be having the same issue we've been discussing in this thread - have you got automatic tracking of activities turned on? I think it might be syncing the auto-tracked stuff from your Charge HR, but not the actual GPS/pace activity.

Have a read of that and leave a comment there if it seems to match up - it's being looked into but no solutions so far. Don't log-out or uninstall the app, or you'll lose what GPS data you've got.
