Fitbit Charge2 and HTC Desire Eye Compatibility

I am new to the forum and looking for advice please 🙂 I would like to buy the FitBit Charge 2 as my first fitness watch.  I have a beloved HTC Desire Eye model and this is not on the compatible device list but apparently this does not mean it does not work. The android version is 6.0.1 has anyone had or have this phone and find the FitBit works ok with it?  I don't want to buy it and find it doesn't work.

Hello @nilshtein, good to see you have joined the Fitbit Community and I like to see you are interested in getting a Charge 2 as your first fitness tracker.

In this case as you said on your post, this phone is not listed as compatible and you are correct since doesn't mean it won't work. The difference is that we cannot guarantee the behavior of your phone in relation to the tacker and app's functionality. I have been using different trackers with my phone which is not listed as compatible too and I have seen a few delays in the syncing process, but nothing beyond that.

So in this case is hard for me to say it will work due to the same reason. If your device isn't listed, you can check the link at a later date to see if device support has been added. Also keep in mind you will have other alternative to sync though our computer.

I appreciate your understanding while we work to improve this experience. See you later.
