While in Florida, my phone died and I bought a Samsung J7 Star. While re-installing all my apps, I found that my Fitbit Flex would not sync. I tried everything and contacted support. They sais to check the list of "approved' phones for the app?? Turn out that the Samsung Galaxy J is approved, but not my phone! They have been no help.
How in this day and age does any app not be compatable or up to date with any device???
Ready to scrap Fitbit for good if they can't resolve this.

I have the J7 also. I have synced my surge and now my versa. The only time I had any problems is when fit bit would update and I really mean screw up their app. I do know that the app is in one of those screwed up versions with an update due soon. Maybe wait out untill the update?
