@Leah90 Welcome to our Community! Not sure what it's happening here since you say that your tracker is actually syncing. Could you share some pictures to have a better idea? Also let me know what device you are using and if you have try seeing your information on a different device (maybe a computer instead of a mobile device).

I look forward to your reply.

Me too...but since upgrading my phone to Marshmallow it won't sync either. After following the directions about allowing location it still doesn't work.

@Chaphilli @DixieBlue Welcome to our Community!

@Chaphilli Could you please add more details about the issue you are having and like in my previous post I also ask if you can share some pictures of what you are seeing to have a better idea of the situation.

@DixieBlue Which tracker do you have? You could try following @SunsetRunner's suggestions here to help your tracker sync again.

I look forward to your replies!

My fitbit will sync eventually and the step count on dashboard is correct but any challenges I'm in the numbers are wrong. Eg) my dashboard says 12,000 but my daily showdown says 10,000. I have tried re starting app, disabling Bluetooth and even re installed the fit bit app. I'm going to see if it corrects itself by morning but so frustrating

So the mod is asking for pictures and the forum does not allow pics? Huh.... Wonder why you dashboard doesn't work correctly? I have the same issues. Set my Blaze for a bike ride. Went 10 miles but the dashboard never moved off a half mile. Also never registered my heartbeat one time. The Blaze works fine. I was able to see my speed, the distance was fine and heartbeat was on screen at all times. Since the device has no GPS, it has to be the app. The device is obviously talking to my LG G5, but the app dashboard is broken.

I thought the exact same!.. mine seems to be working fine now i unistalled the app and installed it again, turned my phone off then back on and that seems to have done the trick. It seems to me that it was a problem with the app my fitbit worked and recorded fine it just would not show up on the dashboard.

hopefully if you do the same yours will work too (fingers crossed)

It was yesterday and I used the laptop and re charged it. Also rebooted it but as of this morning was off by 3000 steps in any competition. The dashboard was not updating the competition properly. Today I'm keeping track and so far it is working.

I'm having the same problem. Dashboard shows a different total than actual. How do I post the screenshots for you?

Same here. I'm using a Blaze on a Galexy Edge 6. If I look at the dashboard, it will say no active minutes but if I click on active minuets, it will show that I walked for 30. Most frustrating is active minuets. When you add up the active minutes based on walks etc under exercise, its one total but overall active minutes is less.Hourly activity also takes forever to catch up. I know I walked my 250+ steps an hour but it may take 3 or 4 hours past the time to show I actually did meet the hourly goal. I sync fine it just takes a while for everything to catch up on the dashboard to match my Blaze.

@Brown44 @SunsetRunner @Rittzy @JSkillman Glad to have you in our Community!

@Brown44 Have you manually logged any activities recently? Manually logged activities will reflect on your account but not on Challenges so take this into consideration when doing so.

@JSkillman @SunsetRunner  @Rittzy It's rather easy to upload pictures to the Community! When you are typing your reply you will see a landscape icon which you will need to click. Then you will have the option to upload a picture from your computer or select one you have previously uploaded (this is not your case yet). I suggest you save your pictures in jpeg or bmp format as the site won't accept png. Once uploaded you can select the size of the picture and add it to your reply.

@SunsetRunner So you are able to see your distance, heartbeat and speed on your tracker but the distance isn't added to your daily totals on the app? As previously request please do add a screenshot so I can see what you are referring to. Also make sure that you synced your tracker after you have finished your ride.

@Leah90 Thank you for letting us all in this thread know how you fixed your issue. Hopefully it will stay this way now.

@JSkillman Active minutes works in a different way that the total time you spent doing an exercise. Essentially active minutes are a measurement of time spent doing activity that is more intense, so active minutes will only account those as active minutes.

Capture.PNG

As you can see in the previous screenshot, I went for a walk for 21 minutes, but since it was at slow pace I only achieved 8 active minutes from the total time. About the delay with your hourly steps, I wonder which platform you are using? if it is iOS try the following steps:

1. Double tap the home button on your iOS device. Your open apps will show on your device's screen.
2. Close the Fitbit app by swiping the app image in an upward motion.
3. Reopen the Fitbit app.

If you are using the Android app, the best way to do this is logging out from your Fitbit app and then restart your mobile device. Once it has loaded, sign back in and give it another try.

Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

This shows my 0 active minutes after my 21 minute walk. his was Saturday the 16th and it hasn't updated or changed since and I've restarted my phone several times since then.

@JSkillman So Active Minutes are dependent on how strenuous your activity level is. Check out this help article for a detailed overview of Active Minutes and how to earn those minutes.

Did you lose data when you uninstalled app?

@Csandt Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that you lost information after removing the app. This may happen if you haven't synced your tracker with your account. Before removing the app make sure to sync your tracker so all data is uploaded to the Fitbit servers.

Keep me posted!
