Hello community,
I just got a brand new Fitbit Inspire HR. And I am trying to set up my devices and pair them up. But after I receive a 4 digit code from Fitbit and enter it on my smartphone, the screen says "connecting" but nothing happens for and then the whole process stops. It happens on both Android and iOS. Is my device defective?

Best AnswerI am having the same issue. It was paired but, there was an update and now won t recognize my fit bit hr. I followed your suggestions and still no luck.
I'm not even sure if it needs to be paired... Help?
Thank you
Best AnswerI have a similar issue - device no longer paris
4 digit code entered but it fails always after that.
I tried unpairing based on an old post but after resetting, clearing settings, uninstalling and reinstalling, no luck.

Best Answerthe advise from fitbit customer service is just a sham. Why don't they tell the truth and tell us that the product is sub standard and clearly has faults which is in the programming. I do not know anything about the fitbit manufacturing process, but I will hazard a guess that these are built in china very, very cheaply. 2 brand new inspire hr's with exactly the same problem, is not a coincidence
