Fitbit Inspire HR will not synchronize with Huawei phone

Over the course of the past week, I have tried everything:

  • Uninstalling and reinstalling the app
  • Granting the app access to every conceivable feature on my phone (contacts, location, storage, microphone and so on -all available permissions are granted).
  • Restarting phone and Fitbit device
  • Turning bluetooth off and on --repeatedly.
  • Force stopping the app and restarting it
  • Activating All-day sync, Continual sync and the perpetual notification.
  • Checking Android updates on my phone --the operative system is up to date.
  • Granting the Fitbit app permission to run in the background.

I've honestly run out of options (or so it feels) and I'm starting to consider returning my Fitbit device. The  only way to sync my tracker is by using a computer, but I move around a lot and this is not feasible for me. Also, I paid good money for the Inspire and I feel I should be able to fully enjoy its functionalities.

How can I fix this problem? Please, help.

Hi @lazydaisy84 - How frustrating! You’ve done a good job of troubleshooting. You don’t say which Huawei phone you have so the first thing to do is check to make sure it is on the list of Supported devices. Please let us know then we can go from there.

I have the same problem worked reasonably well in last 9 month but now will not connect to Bluetooth. Frustrating, on the list for a new tracker for Christmas...
