This "Fitbit Labs Plan for Care" advertisement tile on my Today screen will not go away, there is no "x' to delete it - I have the latest 4.6 version, I've deleted my cache, restarted my phone, turned off all toggles for labs and notifications, replied "No Thanks" to labs in my settings. Fitbit for Android needs to be fixed so the user can close/delete this tile on the Today screen.

Hi @Alh81 & @AltoWoman, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble with Fitbit Plan for Care Lab. Thank you for the screenshot and for all the steps you have already followed.
Yes, you should be able to leave the study at any time. To leave the Fitbit Plan for Care Lab:

Front page won't go away. This is the third time we've had this exact same issue with no X to close the box and instead we have to go to the Fitbit Labs plan for care and then turn it off. Mine has been off and it's still is on my front page with no X to close it
Before my original post I did those steps and Plan for Care is in the "turned off" status.
The tile still exists and is taking up prime space on my Today screen and I would like it gone so that I can see the stats I find useful without scrolling past this annoying stuck tile. It is a Google app problem that needs a sw fix
I absolutely agree with you!! Mine is turned off on the YOU tab on my Samsung Android. It's still showing up periodically and stays there for about an hour, disappears and comes back about a month later. This is the 3rd time I am addressing this same issue!
@DavidFitbit Thanks for the instructions, but they are not working for me. When I tap on Fitbit Labs under Services in my settings, there is no option to turn off the Plan for Care Lab. There is no option to turn anything off.
I opted out of Fitbit Labs last year when the tiles started showing up.
Yes, as everyone else here has stated -- it's not a matter of not knowing how to leave the study, it's a matter of not being able to dismiss the notification for the study. There is no X, opting out of the study just sends you back to the today screen with the notification intact, and I have also opted out of Fitbit Labs in settings.
The problem is just that this notification doesn't have a way to dismiss it
Given the feedback that the tile is stuck even though many of us have confirmed we have "opted out" and have turned off the labs everywhere we can, can you confirm this is an app coding issue? or that it is an intentional permanent advertisement?
Best AnswerHello @Alh81
To the best of my knowledge, this is an issue with app coding. There was an update last year that fixed the Fitbit Labs tiles where it had an X so we could delete them. I'm not sure which app update broke this fix.
