Fitbit Logo stuck after factory reset

I was having my  normal issues with my watch syncing with my bluetooth, this normally happens every three months or so. After trying the normal troubleshooting steps of trying to get it to sync again, I contacted chat support. After going through the troubleshooting steps with him again he asked me to do a factory reset on my watch. I did this and he then told me it could take up to an hour for it to reset and come back on. So I went on about my day and after 1.5 hours I came back to my watch and the fitbit logo was still on the screen. So I waited another 30 minutes and again, it was stuck on the same logo screen. I pressed the power button and held it down and it looked like the watch turned off, then it came back on and the logo was still on there. I contacted chat support again and explained the situation and she said they would send me a replacement. I got an email about the replacement and it went through but is there anyway I can fix my current watch. Its not even a year old, about 8 months old. `Also does anyone know if I will be getting a new watch or a refurbished watch?

You could always try this procedure

  • Remove your Versa from your Fitbit account and from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa  again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa .
