Fitbit One won't sync now that I upgraded to Android Pie

I've rebooted it and re-synced it but after the first sync it won't sync afterwards.

Anyone else having sync issues with Android Pie? I'm on an original Google Pixel.

Uninstalling the app and reinstalling it seemed to fix i Nevermind it stopped syncing again

It only seems to stay synced for 5 minutes then it won't sync at all unless I reboot the fitbit or reinstall the app. Then it only lasts for 5 minutes again.

Android Pie is causing syncing issues for a lot of people. Fitbit are aware of the problem. Keep an eye on the following thread which has their latest updates:
