I just purchased the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and I just got the Fitbit Sense (arriving next week) it will go RIGHT back to Fitbit if it's not going to sync with the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. All the comments I keep finding folks are angry they won't sync because they are not compatible.
I'll go buy the Galaxy watch if Fitbit will not be compatible soon (as in by end of year, beginning of new year).
Thanks in advance!

Any updates @BlessedMom1305 you say that you purchased the Sense. Did it setup?

Hi @BlessedMom1305, welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for your post and for the details that were shared, I understand your concern with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Just as @Rich_Laue asked, can you please share with us any updates about your Fitbit Sense? Did you experience an issue while trying to set it up?
I'll be waiting for your reply.

I cancelled my phone order since I did not get an answer from Fitbit. I need this phone upgrade, but wanted the answer first. Easier to cancel an order than to return and pay a rebox fee. However, I will NOT keep a $300+ watch over a $1300 phone. I will return the Fitbit first.
I have the Fitbit Sense, it will sync with my Galaxy S10 but it is not fully functional it seems. For instance, it will not send calls to the Fitbit. Also, for ALL the money this Fitbit costs, there are no music options without having premium subs to Deezer, Pandora or Spotify. It SHOULD allow you to use your free sub.
No Audio
Also, there is no sound that comes out of the Fitbit (Tap on Google Assistant, "Hey Google" -question- there is no sound from her. I thought I read there WAS. I thought I read it reads texts to you and that calls can be answered through the watch. Mine does not.

Did anyone search these boards with the phone model? This is the best way to find out the compatibility.

The point is this phone has been out for a while and Fitbit refuses to support it.

The Note 20 was announced on August 5, 2020 and released on August 21, 2020.
It really hasn't been out super long.
With the many new models being added monthly,, elk providers adding their own spin to the OS, and every one of them needing individual testing, sometimes a re-write, etc.
It takes time.
For my phone it took months to get added to the list, however by the 3 month everything worked fine for most users.
I searched the boards, and when users mostly reported things where working I upgraded.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus 5G has been out since March 6th, 2020. There is NO excuse why a flagship device shouldn't be supported. Especially since it's very similar to the S10 series.

This thread is about the Note 20 Ultra not the Galaxy S20.
In any case, since they where able to setup the tracker, we know the Note 20 does at least sync.

None of the S20 devices are supported and that's the problem.

I was able to get full functionality with my Fitbit Charge 3 and new Samsung Note 20 and I didn't take notes. It was a bit of a pain but you need to do a full reset on your watch and set it up as a new device using the Fitbit app on your Samsung phone. Once it pairs, go manually into app settings to set up all notifications to the watch followed by going in to the Samsung settings on the phone to allow ALL permissions to the app. Once I did that, the test call worked!! Now I'm receiving notifications as I did with my older phone. Thank goodness because I didn't want to convert to the bigger/bulkier Samsung watch. Note: I only have a Fitbit Charge 3 and not a music compatible phone so I'm not sure it this will work for those functions too. Good luck!

I have the note 20 ultra, and for the most part everything is compatible with the sense. Occaisionally I'll have a hiccup here and there which is generally fixed by turning bluetooth off then back on in the phone settings and then syncing the sense in the fitbit app. You will need to open the fitbit app on your phone then tap the recently used app button (|||) then touch and hold the fitbit icon at the top of the app until a drop down menu appears. Then choose "keep open". This will allow the fitbit app to run in the background. You'll know you did it right if a lock icon appears at the bottom right of the fitbit app on the recently used app screen.

I have a Note 20 Ultra and I can not download the app. My fitbit is useless without the app!! Everytime I try to download it I get a message saying "Something went wrong please try again". I try again and get the same message!! I will have to send my Fitbit back....

Welcome to the Community, @VickiHutchinson.
Thanks for the details provided in your post. If your phone has the requirements listed here to be compatible with the Fitbit app, please check if you receive the same error message when you try to download another app from the Play Store. If that's the case, I recommend you to force close the Play Store by going to your phone's Settings > Apps > Play Store > Force Stop, restart your phone and try to download the Fitbit app again.
Hope this helps.
