Fitbit Version 3.66 does not work with Kindle Fire HD 10

Fit it 3.65.1 works

3.66 does not

Use this for last year and a half with a kindle fire hd 10 android device. Been working fine until someone at fit bit decides to do a update. Partners updated now

Fit it icon shows

When you click to get app open on kindle, it blinks and goes back to page with all other apps.

Tried removing, reinstalling from Google play ( version 3.66) with same problem.

Their chat people are from different country, and are of no help for twenty minutes.

Hi @Joey50  your Amazon tablet has Fire OS, not a true Android operating system and you can't use Fitbit on it. When I got my tablet last Christmas there was no Fitbit app available for it. While you may have had it work in the past, it seems there is no way for it to work currently. Just to be sure, I've asked a Fitbit Moderator to stop by to confirm this for us.

@Odyssey13   I think you misunderstand how Kindle Fire users get the Fitbit app.  They aren't getting it from the Amazon App Store.  They are sideloading the Google Play Store onto the device, then getting the same app as Android phone users.

@Joey50   There are several posts in the Android forum about v 3.66 crashing and the device doesn't matter.  I'm moving this to the Android forum, so you can follow the issue there.  I also suspect that someone will merge the posts together.

Fit bit has always worked on kindle fire hd 19.You changed something in new app. There are thousands of us that do not have phones, and use kindle fire hd10 and fit bit Fit it 3.65.1 works
3.66 does not
Have had same issues with other updates. Management at fit bit has made work. Do not listen to pre selected item a call center or email center is reading. Fit bit, don't upgrade, unless ALL used platforms work.I am disabled, thus why using kindle fire hd10

Fitbit, if you're listening: I'd be happy to be a beta tester for fitbit on Kindle. Even better: do an official release to Kindle app store. Joey is right, this is unacceptable.

How can you save your 3.65.1 version? Can you disable automatic update of this fit bit?.

Would then love to post version I am on, as working perfect.  The 3.66 on my friends kindle click on icon, brings you back to your icon page. He even searched for older version.

Fit Bit, I second the nomination, including me to be a beta tester in my circumstances.

I definitely need to know sleep patterns for Neurologist, sleep study clinic, and awake patterns. I receive botox injections into thighs, calves, and other muscles, along with other medicines that allow me to walk with a cane. Steps are a big portion, even the little I do. My Heart Dr loves to see other graphs also.

App must be made for all disabled, regardless of device.

Fit bit updated. Do a Google search for Old versions of fit bit. Mine updated today to latest.

Try to open app, it clicks and your back on your app page.

FIT BIT. ALL platforms need to work before releasing new version. Found a old version to work, otherwise could not even post this

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Fitbit app. Recently a new Fitbit app update (3.71) was released. I would recommend that you give it a try. This could resolve the issue that was arising with the previous versions.
