I've had both the MFP and Fitbit apps for the past couple years and they've always played nice together and synced info. Since upgrading my phone to the Samsung S7 edge, neither app syncs info anymore. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling both apps and nothing helps. I can't get the MFP app to disconnect from Fitbit so I could try to reconnect. I reached out to MFP a couple months ago, but have not heard a reply, so I thought I'd try here. Any suggestions would be welcome! Thanks!
It's a rare day when I can answer my own issue! My problem was I kept trying to do things in the app. I had to go to the actual MFP website in order to disconnect the links between MFP and Fitbit and then chose to not track steps. I then went into the application manager (under settings) and did a "force stop" on both apps. Went back to the MFP website and re-linked the accounts and chose to use Fitbit to track steps again. Lastly, I restarted my phone. Today, the apps are finally syncing info again!
