Hey guys! I'm having a bit of a problem syncing my Charge 2 to my Samsung Note 8. The only thing that seems to not be syncing are my text and call notifications. I tried updating the app, restarting my phone, disconnecting and reconnecting the bluetooth, syncing my Fitbit through the app, and nothing. Everything else seems to be fine. It's just text and call notifications I'm having issues with. I'm not sure if it is a specific setting that I need to change. Any suggestions?

It could be because the Note 8 is not currently on the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully tested and optimized to work with that phone and thus issues like this may arise.
While the app can work as long as the phone meets the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that some issues will happen. Some users of phones not on that list have mentioned that going through these troubleshooting steps helped them, so it's definitely worth a try.
There is a Note 8.0 listed on the devices list, this is referring to a tablet and not the phone.

For anyone having the issue of their fitbit not receiving texts but does receive calls, Ive found a solution that worked for me.
I downloaded a different sms message app from the playstore and used it as my default sms app as opposed to the factory default sms message app from Samsung. This change in sms apps corrected the issue.
I have AT&T but downloaded the Verizon message+ sms app and it works perfectly with Fitbit.
