Fitbit app for Android is gsf (google services framework) dependant. All new Huawei devices use its own services as it can't utilize google's because of the ban. Huawei support informed me there's no way for app to work without gsf as of today. Many people use Fitbits outside US and not only with iPhones and Samsungs - just like me with OnePlus in Poland. If I switch to new Huawei device, my Fitbit Charge 4 doesn't work. I don't want to choose between phone and fitness tracker. Is there anything Fitbit can do about it? This case is far from neglibile as Huawei is #3 in the world and it could be potential deal breaker for many people so please spare feature suggestion link for a different thread.
