Fitbit app can't find my Charge HR

I have tried so many times to pair my Charge HR to my phone and it just won't work. I paired it once but it froze half way through the update. So I did a factory reset on it and now it can't even be paired. It says it found it, but then can't pair it. I've literally been at this for over 2 hours and crying in frustration!! Someone, please help me!!

I would try restarting your phone and then restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

 

  1. Plug your charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Insert the other end into the port on the back of your Fitbit Charge or Fitbit Charge HR. Your tracker will begin charging.
  3. Press and hold the button for 10 to 12 seconds until you see the Fitbit icon and a version number (e.g. "V30").
  4. Let go of the button.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
