after I had some issues with the app, I deleted it and I downloaded it again. But when I want to open the app, it closes itself after 10 seconds or so. Can anyone please tell me what the issue is and how I can solve it. (restarting the phone doesn't help).

@Yvette88, I'm sorry for the late response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit forums. I'm also sorry to hear that the Fitbit app closes and won't work properly. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
I would like to know what is the brand and model of your phone. This info will help me to determine the cause of the issue.

deledet it and downloaded again, the app doesn't open.
I tried to download the app on a very old Samsung an it works (I've got an
old app version).
I think it is strange I can't open the app anymore

Hi JuanJo,
In the meantime I tought I have one last option: back to the factory settings of my phone.
I took some time to put the back-up and personal settings back to what it was. But it seems that it worked. I can open the app, and it is even working 😁.

For me, the app just starting crashing today. Restarting the phone did not fix it. It crashed when I tried to sync, and when I tried to go into my account area and click help. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and have not been experiencing issues before today except that it would go through periods of not finding my device. Help?

I have the same problem that seemed to start yesterday. I am abe to open the app for a few seconds then it would stop. I'm using a Galaxy S10. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app only got as far as being able to login but it would crash when trying to synch. But re-starting the phone did seem to work for now.

I'm trying to get in the app, but when I type my email and password, The app said that it doesnt recognize my mail or password. So Ive changed my password and even refreshed the app, refreshed my phone, but still the app doesnt work... Please help!!! Ive got the charge 2 btw. Grt Mitch

I started having problems with the Android app a few days ago and it has now gotten to the point where the app won't stay open even after deleting and reinstalling, restarting my phone, force stop clear cache and data. I'm using a pixel 3 XL. Big bummer.
