Fitbit app crashing on Huawei P30 pro

Just got a charge 3 today and downloaded the fitbit app on a Huawei P30 Pro. App works the first time it opens. After that, it keeps crashing. I can hold on the icon, and then press log water/track exercise/etc, but once I try to go back to the home page in the app, it automatically crashes. I've tried the suggestions for the Huawei P20 lite regarding running the app manually, and that doesn't solve the issue. The only way to use the app is to uninstall it, and then reinstall. However, it will only keep crashing. Restarting phone doesn't help either. Anyone else experiencing this? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for troubleshooting your device prior to posting too, seems odd that the Fitbit app is crashing on your Huawei P30 Pro. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to try the following steps and let me know how it goes:

1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
4. Reboot your mobile device.
5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
6. Login using your account credentials.
7. Let me know if the issue persists.

Several of us on the council also have this issue. My Fitbit app crashes several times a day.

cause i'm seeing the same problem on my huawei P30 and the support is moving slow with suggestions i already tried several times.
