Fitbit app crashing on Samsung A70

I am using a Samsung Galaxy A70 phone and my App was working fine until I did an App update in Google Play last night. This morning the App would not launch and just kept doing a forced close. I have uninstalled the App and restarted my phone several times but am still have problems. I now get to the log in page enter my details and am just getting the wheel of death saying please wait and cannot log in. I have been able to log in fine on my table but not on my phone since the update yesterday. Fitbit please help.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before to posting over here. There's a new Fitbit app available in the Google Play store, therefore, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

 

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
