Fitbit app deleted Sleep tile and won't track it

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My fitbit has stopped tracking my sleep for almost 2 weeks now. I've tried hard restarting my fitbit and reinstalling the whole app.

Today, I found that fitbit had deleted the sleep tile from my app altogether. I went in and manually added it back and while it says it's been added, it still won't show up on my dashboard, even though it is selected.

This happened at the same time that our Aria stopped syncing to wifi. After troubleshooting that to no end, we had to set up a guest wifi just to get it back online.

I have searched the forums for these issues and followed the advice given, but nothing has helped.

Hi @ErinSfit, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this situation, can you please let me know if you experienced this situation in the past or is it the first time? Which phone are you using with your Fitbit? Only the Sleep tile and the sleep tracking function of your device are not working or other stats are not doing what they suppose? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Fitbit device and try wearing it on your non-dominant hand when you're going to sleep. Then, troubleshoot the app with the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Looking forward to your reply.

Is you Fitbit tracker still connected to your Fitbit account? This would be a reason for no sleep tile.

Hi @RicardoFitbit

The steps you listed I've done repeatedly with no success. I also already wear my Fitbit on my non-dominant hand.

More about my situation: This is the first time I've experienced this. I use LGStylo 2. My husband and I had a lot of trouble with the scale syncing which happened at the same time that the tile disappeared and the Fitbit stopped tracking my sleep. The app says it's added, but it's not. And there's no sleep data on my Fitbit either.

It is connected. We've repeatedly uninstalled, hard quit, reinstalled, and reconnected with no success. 😞
