Fitbit app deleting steps at midnight

I'm starting not to see the point in even having a Fitbit when for weeks at the end of each day the app completely erases any step progress I had made. The step count on my Fitbit is accurate I've already tested it according to what moderators have told me to do. I've already done any and all resets that moderators suggest. But regardless of anything the moderators have told me to do and my following it accordingly at the end of every day the Fitbit app takes away all of my steps. I've been at the same step count for weeks even though I know I go about 12,000 to 15000 steps every day. In the beginning it will show that it's adding to my total step count and like clockwork as soon as midnight strikes they are taking away from me. Can somebody please do something about this because you're about to lose not only me as a customer but from what I've seen of other people posting many more.

Hello @Teady, it's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums!

Thanks for the information and details that were shared in your post, totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know when was the first time you experienced this situation and how many days since then? Does this occur in the Fitbit app only or in the Fitbit.com dashboard too? If you haven't already done so, please try the following steps:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
  7. Let me know if the issue persists.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

I've literally already done all of that multiple times, @RicardoFitbit. As I said in the post I have already done everything the moderators have suggested and it still has not fixed it

Wednesday morning about 1am I was at 101,000 steps. Thursday morning about 4am it reduced to 89,000 steps. And as of right now at 12:48am my step count has reduced to 86,000 and still dropping. There's literally no point in being a customer with fitbit when it doesn't even do what it's built to do.
