Ever since I updated my Versa for my Galaxy 7, I show that my Messages on my Dashboard is empty. I updated with the most recent one dated 10/19/19.

 

This shouldn't be,  as in the Notifications section it shows "xxx wants to be friends". Mahalo!

I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulties to receive messages on your Dashboard.

 

In order to get a better idea of the messages you are referring to please provide a screen shot of the area. If you are getting any error message, please let me know.
