Fitbit app displaying IP banned

Within the last hour or so, I can't login to the Android app or access fitbit.com (or any subdomains). My IP address appears to have been banned. No other sites appear to be impacted.

 

Error 1006 Ray ID: 6825a721ae29a76d • 2021-08-21 17:41:33 UTC Access denied

What happened?

The owner of this website (www.fitbit.com) has banned your IP address (27.34.20.208).

Fitbit customer support is doing their best, but right now be prepared for longer wait times. Please be patient. Support is limited by the number of representatives available at a given time and the hours of operation. Chat lines are open when they have live help.

Your IP address appears on a couple of blacklist checker sites.  If you google "blacklist IP checker' and enter your IP address you'll see it on a few sites.
