The app doesn't log my water or food intake from my fitness pal app

Hi @Ripped5555, welcome on board. It's nice to see you in the Community.

 

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, and let me help you with MyFitnessPal and Fitbit app connection. While you can log food in MyFitnessPal to sync it to Fitbit, with water intake, you need to manually log it in the Fitbit app. To see what information can sync between Fitbit and my Fitness Pal, check this post.

 

Now, about the food logs, please make sure that the Fitbit app is updated to the latest version, give a try to the following steps:

 

  1. Log out from the Fitbit app.
  2. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache

  3. Then, go back to the previous screen and tap on Force Stop.
  4. Reboot your phone and open the Fitbit app.
  5. Check if the food logged in MyFitnessPal appears now.

Thanks for your efforts while troubleshooting this situation. Since the information is still not syncing, I'd recommend to re-link both accounts by doing the following:

 

  1. Sign into your Fitbit online dashboard.
  2. Click the gear icon in the upper right corner and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
  3. On the left side of your screen click "Applications."
  4. Under MyFitnessPal, click "Revoke Access."
  5. You can then re-link the two accounts with the steps from this help article.
