Fitbit app has incorrect calorie calculations

I have noticed my Fitbit app isn't calculating correctly on the calories in vs. out.

For example: I ate 1900 calories today and I burnt 1961. Yet my Fitbit app told me I went over by 187 calories. Shouldn't it say I was under by 61 calories. This isn't the first time its happened either. Its been consistent since I started using it in October. I find it very annoying as its saying i'm going over on my food but I am clearly not. It only seems to happen when my calories in is within 100 calories of my calories out. My food intake is set at 1900 a day.

Hello @SovietVodka901, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I see what you are referring. Perhaps this other conversation I sustained with another member of the Community, will provide you more details on how it works these tools. Please take a look to the following thread: How does calorie counter work?

Let me know how it goes and if you have other questions.
