Fitbit app incorrectly reporting 0% battery life

Fitbit Android app version 4.65 is inaccurately reporting that the Pixel Watch 4 is at 0% battery while the Watch app is correctly reporting the battery life.

Hello @jeffcarp

Some of us had this issue when we first set up our Pixel Watch 4 in the Fitbit app. We had to do a couple of manual syncs to get the app to show the watch's battery life.

If that doesn't work, the next troubleshooting step that I would try is restarting the watch, then do a manual sync in the Fitbit app.

If neither of those troubleshooting steps work, I would try removing the watch from the Fitbit app, add it back, and do a manual sync in the Fitbit app.

Thanks for your suggestions. This issue starting after I removed the watch from the Fitbit app and added it back. The Fitbit app was telling me that the watch wasn't syncing but it was syncing.. All the data was syncing but it was telling that it hadn't synced in 3 days. The Google Watch app was reporting "Connected" but "Not syncing to Fitbit."

Hey there,

my Charge 6 has the same problem from time to time and so it happens on my wife's Sense 2. It seems there is something miscoded in the app!

What helps me in 95% and is pretty quick and easy:

- Hold the Fitbit App icon on your phone, tab on the little "i" to open the phone's app settings for the Fitbit App.

- Tab on force quit app, then locate the cache section in that settings menu and tab "delete cache"

- Now just close the app settings, start Fitbit App again with tabbing on the Icon normally, in the App pull down the apps main screen, hold it one second and finally release it to force a resync with your watch and the Fitbit servers.

Now the watch should show the correct battery again and also showing the recent syncs (and not 3 days ago the last). It could happen again after some days, that the sync is not really correctly done, as you stated all values correct but app says last sync several days ago, then just do the steps again mentioned above.

In the missing 5% of cases even that steps don't work, I do the steps but before starting app again, I restart phone AND watch at same time and after that it works again.

Best regards

I have the same problem. The Watch app shows a normal battery charging level but Fitbit shows zero. I tried everything wiped app data on the watch, logged out of the account, deleted the watch from the Fitbit account. Wiped the Pixel Watch and Fitbit app data on the phone. Nothing helped. The software quality and service are rubbish. Never buy a watch that relies on Fitbit. My daily training and sleep tracking are completely lost.

+ rebooted a phone and watch, deleted a watch from bluetooth too. Definitely this is software bug
