Fitbit app isn't showing heart rate information

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit is showing the white line graph for historical heart rate and includes today. It also has the bar chart that shows how long I was in each zone today. It does not show today's line chart for my heart rate throughout the day but I know its syncing data because I have the other charts. What's up with that?

A warm welcome to the Community @Maddyremz.

I just wanted to let you know that I have moved your post from the Blaze board to the Android app board, since I think that here you will be able to see more related topics about the Fitbit app.

Now about the issue you are experiencing, could you please provide me with some screenshots of what you are seeing? In the meantime, I recommend checking that your heart rate option is "On" or "Auto" by swiping to settings directly from the tracker.

Hope to hear from you soon. Robot Happy

Hi @AlejandraFitbit, I just opened my app today at about 2pm here in the UK and I couldn't get my heart rate graph for today to show up. I noticed that the resting bpm wasn't showing on the tile.

Unsynched by turning off Bluetooth. Reconnected and found when synched that resting bpm was there and the graph for today. Does the graph depend on resting hr showing first?

I'm all good here now but I have noticed this happen to me a couple of times recently but I can't remember if it's only since the last update.

Hey @Lilbiddy, great to see you here.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. By graph you mean tile? If you can't see the heart rate tile, I recommend doing the following:

  1. On your Dashboard slide down and tap "Edit"
  2. Select the tiles you prefer
  3. Tap "Done"
  4. Sync

Let me know the outcome. Man Happy

Hi @AlejandraFitbit, the heart rate tile is there it was showing my heart rate but not the resting rate,  just two dashes. Then, when I first opened it, the box with the heart rate line tracing for that day wasn't there. Only the previous days were displayed and the white line chart showing the resting hr for each day didn't have an entry for that day.

As I said it was as if it couldn't sort itself out until it had decided on my resting heart rate and that seemed a bit late in the day not to have reached a conclusion as to what it was.

By the way we were in late shift mode so at lunch time I was still in "early morning stares" state, ie waiting for the coffee to kick in.

Cheers.
