Fitbit disabled my Phone Security Pin

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So I am new to the fitbit and I just got it.  It was perfect for the first few days but now my Android S9 security pin is no longer being requested when my Fitbit is connected to my phone.  A security feature I do not like.  Does anyone know how to disable this feature.  I can't seem to locate an answer anywhere

Thanks

Bernie

@BernieEB  Check your phone Settings under Security and Lock Screen and see if Smart Lock has the Fitbit listed as a Trusted Device.  If the Fitbit is listed, you can choose to remove it as a Trusted Device.  My phone is Android 8.0 so it might not be exactly the same as yours but try to look around for Smart Lock on the phone.

Welcome to the Forums @BernieEB. Hello @kcronin.

Thanks for bring around to help @kcronin, you are absolutely right.

@BernieEB Please check on that, if that is the case then it is happening because if the Phone connects to the Fitbit via Bluetooth it will unlock. Removing the Fitbit from the trusted devices will prevent this from happening again.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
