Fitbit app not showing my data

As of yesterday afternoon the app is wonky. Missing data: no steps or sleep. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted my phone, all to no avail.

Having tried restarting your phone without any luck I would try restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

Give it a few tries though as it sometimes doesn't work.

Thanks for your response! I'll try that when I am able. The tracker seems
to be working fine. It notified me when I met my step goal. It seems the
problem is work the app itself.

3 years later but me, too. Tracker working. App isn’t showing anything but calories. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled. Turned phone off. Turned tracker off. Nothing works

@Jodytoo Does your tracker still show on your dashboard in the app? I'm wondering if it has become disconnected from your account - if there is no tracker connected then it can't show steps.

I think you hit it. It isn’t showing but I didn’t realize that b/c it’s still showing a calorie count.

I’ve tried to add the device but the app can’t find it. I’ve turned my Bluetooth on and off. It’s working for other devices.

The app just keeps searching for the Versa.

Yes, those calories are confusing. It will still show your BMR calories (those you burn just keeping your body alive) without a tracker as they are calculated from your profile.

 

I would try restarting your fitbit: Help article: How do I restart my tracker?

Restarting your phone

"forget" any link to the fitbit in your phone's bluetooth settings

 

If they don't help then it might be best to contact customer support as they may be able to see more from the server side: contact.fitbit.com
