Fitbit app on old phone no longer works to sync

ANSWERED

The apps being mandatory for the watch to function is problematic

My phone is too old for the apps, making it not longer able to sync with the fitbit watch. The app is mandatory if I want my watch to be at the correct time. I should not have to buy a new phone in order to tell the time.

@Hell-0   Your phone must be able to upgrade to Android 11 to download the Fitbit app.  Fitbit drops phones when their operating system is no longer supported.  Android 10 might not receive security updates.  Your phone might face security issues because of its age.  That might be a better reason to get a new phone.
