Fitbit app shows down for maintenance

My account on the app shows spinning of icons plus my devices won't  sync. This has been happening for days. I have the 2 authentication on the account. I removed my inspire 2 from the account and tried to install back and now the app says down for maintenance.  I don't  read any problems with the app being down in the community or on Twitter.

I appreciate the troubleshooting performed and the research done prior to posting. As you mentioned, the app isn't down for maintenance. Let's try the following: 

 

- Log out from the Fitbit app 

- Restart your phone 

- Log back in and try to set up your Inspire 2
