Fitbit app stops showing live HR

Often when I go running on the treadmill the live HR is not displaying in the app. When this happens it also gives a notification "Connected gps is running". The notification doesn't go away.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the information that was shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which Android device are you using? It seems that your Fitbit is struggling to properly connect with the Bluetooth of your mobile device, therefore, please make sure that there's no other Bluetooth device nearby that can cause interference and check if your mobile device is compatible with our products and services. Also, please try the following troubleshooting steps and let me know how it goes:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the Android version is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
  7. Let me know if the issue persists.
