I don’t know how, but About  2 Hours ago iT was possible to log in to the app. Seems everything works Again. But iT took almost 2 days.

I diden’t do anything special for it, just worked Again.

I would say just keep trying to log in.

wish you Luck.

When I uninstalled then reinstalled the android app, it will not allow me to log in. It keeps giving me an error of Fitbit.com is unavailable.. but I can log in on my laptop. I cant get it to sync  and its messing up all my apps I have it connected to.

Welcome to the Forums @Lynnchambers1@Melissajoyce77 and @Sabrina78.

I have merged your threads together as they pertain to the same issue.

Thanks for bringing this up.

In this case I'd like to recommend that you try to use a different internet connection method. For example, if you are using WiFi then use another connection or your data plan (if you have one). That should help in getting the app to load up correctly.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I have re installed an older version of the app and that is working...it isn't showing that I have any friends on fitbit but rest seems ok so that's better than nothing. The latest version of the app obviously isn't compatible with my phone/tablet for some reason

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

I have a brand new Samsung and my old app wasn't working this morning; updated and that didn't help. It won't work on data or wifi. I get the same "fitbit.com is unavailable" message as others are reporting here. This is extremely frustrating, and I don't believe it's user-side because this is a brand new phone, it was working fine yesterday, and it doesn't work with either the new or old version of the app.

I'm on the phone with Support right now. Uninstalling and reinstalling caused it it work again for about a minute before it stopped working again. My steps are 0, the Versa won't sync, I can't search food to add to my log, can't accept a friend request, and I get the "fitbit.com is down" error when I try to view my challenges in progress. The rep did say the app has been tested with the S8 phone but not S9.

Hello @ThirteenOne@Lynnchambers1 and @Sabrina78.

Thanks for sharing your experiences and feedback on the matter.

@Sabrina78 Glad to read that everything is working.

@Lynnchambers1, Maybe you could try to install the latest version of the app again and give it a try to see if it works like it did for @Sabrina78.

@ThirteenOne, I assume that yo are using an S9 then? In that case, the support team is referring to the fact that it is not on the supported devices list. This means that the app hasn't been fully optimized with your phone.

Some users have mentioned that following these steps helps sync with their devices that aren't on the list. Keep in mind that there is a chance the a Fitbit will sync as long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, but we cannot guarantee it.

Additionally, you can follow this thread to get more updates on the situation with the app showing 0 steps.

If there are any further questions, please let me know.
