I’m having the same problem since about midday on the 2nd of March 2023. I have been through all of the previous advice which included switching off my iPhone and back on, switching off the Bluetooth, then switching off my iPhone and back on, deleting the Fitbit app and reinstalling, and the last thing I tried was to reset my Fitbit versa. It seemed to start working for a while and I went out for a walk which was logging the location and by the time I got home and open the app it closed down again. So far nothing I have tried has had a positive impact and now I’m getting a bit fed up with it. It’s amazing how important it becomes to me when it is not working .

Mine started working again as well, but after a couple of hours, it’s back to his old tricks of opening and then immediately closing again.

I’ve been having problems with my app doing this all morning. I’ve turned my phone on and off, uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and still not working properly. Looks to be a problem with the app fitbit end. Does anyone from their tech team actually monitor these and fit the problems everyone is having!?!

Same for me…says 100 notifications. And won’t stay open.

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the newcomers. Please note there is a general issue affecting the Fitbit app. It has been reported and it is being monitored. As soon as I learn more about it, I will let you know. Fitbit is working on a solution already. Thanks for your patience!

I have no idea if any tech people monitor this forum or whether it’s just populated by moderators. Generally my Fitbit works really well all the time and I have no complaints but this time it’s starting to annoy me. I thought it was fixed about 30 minutes ago And then all of a sudden it won’t open again, cycling Bluetooth and switching my phone on and off and switching the Fitbit on and off seems to have temporary success but it is only temporary. I suspect there’s something else going on but I don’t know what it is.

One thing I forgot to mention in my original post is that I am using an iPhone 11 pro with iOS, 16.3.1

My app keeps crashing too

My app keeps crashing upon opening also. Can’t find a way to alert anyone. It’s after the recent update. I have iPhone 12.

Thank you. I have managed to open it, intermittently, by tapping on it non-stop; however, once opened, it fails to record the steps or the time, so it might as well not open. I’ve tried the strategies that worked for others, but so far, no luck!

I have tried uninstalling, and reinstalling several times today and yesterday and it still keeps crashing after a few seconds. It was fine last week.
