Fitbit app won't connect to Pixel Watch 3

Unfortunately, my Pixel Watch 3 doesn't connect to the app at all. 
A new Google account was created, the app was uninstalled and installed several times, 
the watch was started and reset several times. 
No chance of connecting.

What else can I do? An idea?

Is this the first time you've tried to connect your Pixel Watch 3 to the Fitbit app on your phone/tablet?

Have you had a chance to update to the current Fitbit Android app, version 4.27? If you are on an older version of the Fitbit app, you need at least version 4.26 in order to add the Pixel Watch 3 to the Fitbit app.

Or are you having an issue with your Pixel Watch 3 not being able to open the Fitbit app on your watch? If this is the issue you're having, there's an update to the Fitbit app for the Pixel Watch. I've seen users report this update fixes the problem with opening the Fitbit app on the watch.. Please open the Play Store app on your watch and scroll down to the bottom. Tap on Manage apps. It should bring up the update for the Fitbit app.
