Fitbit badges not showing in android app

My fitbit badges (lifetime steps, floors etc.) That I have earned are all a joint on my online dashboard when I log on via the browser. However, the last badge I have showing in my app is from 2017. The latest badges aren't showing in the app at all. 

 

I've tried logging off, restarting phone and logging back in. But still the same problem. 

 

Any suggestions as to why this is? Thanks!

All of a sudden my app badges never have notification numbers on them anymore. Twitter, Facebook, etc will look like I have no notifications. But when I open the app, there will be new ones. Why is the badge not showing them anymore? Samsung Galaxy S8. Thanks for any help.
