I have a galaxy A5 (2017) and since last night my charge 2 and the fitbit app are not syncing. I have tried everything possible but nothing seems to be working. The app is syncing with my "my fitness pal" app but not with my charge 2. I have read there was an update for iOS (apple) recently. Has there been an android update as well? Could this be the problem?

Seems to have been resolved. After repairing my charge 2 after 2 attempts.
