Why are there inconsistencies when fitbit and my googel pixcel synchronise. It seems like a waste of money for this watch. Also if the fitbit community platform is due to close in October what is going to take its place?

There is a known issue on the Fitbit side that affects data syncing between some Pixel watches and the Fitbit app. There is an update to the Fitbit Android app, ver 4.26.1, that was supposed to include a fix to the syncing issue. However, I've seen Pixel watch users report that the update didn't fix the problem.
The team is aware of that the issue still exists and is working on fixing the problem.
The Fitbit community forums are not closing in October. The on-line fitbit.com dashboard was closed on 08 Jul 2024 and the associated forum for the on-line dashboard will be closing on 02 Oct 2024.
