Fitbit doesn't connect with Huawei P9 lite

I read that fitbit can now be synced with Huawei P9 lite. I innstalled thefitbit app again so it should be the latest version, and Bluetooth is on. It still can't find the fitbit charge 2, no connection. What should I do?

I'm curious where you read Fitbit can now sync with Huawei P9 lite.  If that has been changed, the documentation does not yet reflect it.

According to https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2315/?q=huawei&l=en_US&fs=Search&pn=1

"Due to Bluetooth issues that prevent Huawei Lite models, including P8 and P9 Lite, from syncing with some devices, like Fitbit devices, our products are not compatible with these mobile phones."

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Argh, so maybe itsi wrong then. I just read posts from people saying their fitbit finally connected with the P9 lite, so I assumed they finally solved it.

It could be, or maybe some people have figured out how to make it work.

I would suggest if you can find the posts you saw about getting it to work (maybe use search box above for P8 or P9), and see if those people have any more info.

There was recently a emui update for my Mate 10 lite. Although it synced every now and then before, since the emui update my fitbit and my Huawei sync perfectly like it did when I had a Samsung Galaxy.

Check if there is a emui update for your phone.

Go to settings -> system ->  systemupdate

(Sorry English is not my native language but I assume this is the right translation. 😛 )

I assume this will be similar for your phone.

I read this so I guess there was an update for the P9 Lite (2017) version.
