Fitbit error - Unfortunately Fitbit has stopped

Fitbit app won't open.  For the last day and a half when I try to open the app I get a message - Unfortunately Fitbit has stopped.  I've done what was suggested in trouble shooting - restarted my android and reselected auto time zone, but no luck.  Is anyone else having same trouble?

Hi there @dcrompto welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I have this issue not only with Fitbit but with other apps on my tablet. What I do is the following to make them work as a workaround:

Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone one more time. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

See you later and hope this helps.
